![]() ![]() So - when deciding how to gear, this is what I do: Unless you're getting a TON of substats, not a single piece of the recommended gear supports that requirement. Second, he needs high accuracy, which means if you DON'T have a 5- or 6- star accuracy banner, he will need either (or both) an chest piece with main stat accuracy, or an accuracy set with lots of substats. First, assuming you want to use Maneater in Clan Boss, he needs a lifesteal set, and that isn't even an option in the gearing suggestion. Perfect example - for Maneater, the recommended sets are 2X life and 1X Defense, with HP% gauntlets and chest Def% boots. If you're referring to the in-game suggestions, they are generally crap since they don't even offer the full range of options, and even if they did, the end goals of gearing a character are more important that what sets or prime stats you're using. I am in the process of gearing my Big Un, Coldheart, Royal Guard, Alure & Septimus with the right sets (as currently they are wearing mixed attack sets), and feel that all would benefit from the same - 6 x crit damage sets, crit damage masteries, crit damage gauntlets, crit damage amulet, attack % chest, speed boots, accuracy banner with substats in crit rate/crit damage/attack %/accuracy/speed. Do all attack champions scale differently, so some benefit more from higher attack than crit damage, or is crit damage the universal avenue for the highest damage possible? My question is, why is 3 sets of crit damage, with crit damage gloves and amulet, as well as crit damage masteries not perfect for everyone? Why is this ideal for Coldheart, but not for Alure, Septimus etc. Reading and watching a lot of videos about gearing different champions, specifically attack type champions for Dungeon use - I notice that sets and recommendations vary a lot, however regardless of the champion and skill set, crit rate and crit damage seem to always be favoured.
